Thoroughbred Competition Stallions
A well-established company with fifteen successful years behind it, Woolaston Stud is a small privately owed concern just outside Chepstow. It has built an excellent reputation for thoroughbred competition stallions whose progeny proudly carry on their wonderful temperament and wide success in all disciplines.
The Stud started after it was given a lovely old TB stallion called "Motivate" and things expanded from there. Woolaston Stud has procured an impressive list of credentials from its successful stallions as well as their progeny. At present the Stud has three stallions, five brood mares and youngsters from foals upwards.
The main stallion is Diamond Dancer, a stunning looking grey with plenty of substance that has been competed to Intermediate Level eventing with local rider Eric Winter and then by potential squad member Nick Gauntlett. His youngstock all inherit his wonderful temperament and attitude to work. In between his Stud Work and competitive career he can regularly be seen whipping in to the local hunt.

Also at Woolaston Stud this year is Patchwood Montana, a beautifully marked skewbald Sports Horse with good bone and conformation. He has BSJA winnings of £290 and has jumped in the Welsh Team twice completing a double clear round in 2004.
We also have the very well bred TB colt, Mr Kalandi. This very attractive grey boasts an impressive pedigree of Group One winners and will be an excellent sire for Pointers and Eventers or for crossing with native breeds.
Finally we have Calimero Z, owned by Mrs Lizzel Winter. He has excellent bloodlines, being by a top German stallion while his dam's grandsire has bred many top class show jumpers.
All these stallions have the credentials to breed a future star from all types of mare.
The Stud also run a livery yard and is happy to take horses from DIY to full livery as well as for breaking, schooling and sale.
